Ryan Sonnon, 32, and Abigail Sonnon, 30, were taken into custody from Mahanoy City to Schuylkill County Prison, where they were charged with felony counts of child endangerment and misdemeanors of recklessly endangering another person, the outlet reports citing a Tuesday Pennsylvania State Police release.
The Sonnons’ daughter, 3, was found by Children and Youth with serious tooth decay due to her poor diet, as well as numerous bug bites and a lice investigation, the report said. She was treated at an emergency room due to her poor condition.
The Sonnons both appear to be active on Facebook and have several photos of their smiling daughter.
